Since 2002, Image Evolution have championed digital printing for its sustainability as well its flexibility over lithographic production. Everything we do is designed to reduce our impact on the environment.

Go digital – it’s more sustainable!

The term ‘digital’ printing refers to the ink being transferred to the paper via a digital process rather than a traditional aluminium plate. This provides a rapid initial set up process, allowing our HP Indigo technology to produce litho quality print in a fraction of the time.

Removing physical plates from our processes means there’s no need for minimum order quantities. We competitively print only what you need, when you need it, using the minimum amount of paper required.

This sustainable approach keeps waste to a minimum, is highly efficient and cost effective.

Environmental assured paper stocks

We only use FSC® certified paper to ensure it is sustainably sourced. FSC paper is manufactured from virgin wood pulp sourced from sustainably managed forests. Around three new trees are planted for everyone that is harvested – ensuring a sustainable future for the printing industry and the wider world.

The paper is manufactured without the use of chlorine bleaches, using hydro-electric power in environmentally sound paper mills.

Electricity use

The environmentally friendly HP Indigo digital technology uses less electricity compared to litho printing, reducing the power consumption per printed page. With our electricity supplied on a renewable tariff, you benefit from the best quality and environmentally sustainable digital print available.

HP ElectroInk – liquid ink

HP is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading sustainable companies. Accordingly, their ElectroInks are not classified as harmful as they do not contain any chemicals of high concern. They also work to reduce waste by extending the product lifespan of all consumables, meaning fewer replacements and less waste.

Reduced carbon deliveries

To reduce our impact on the environment we use a low-carbon logistics network for all next-day deliveries, reducing road miles through trunked then local deliveries nationwide. All urgent same-day deliveries are strategically planned to reduce mileage and transport pollution.

Recycling waste

We recycle all our waste materials – from plastic ink cartridges, paper, cardboard packaging and even the wood from our pallets.
